Meredith McBrearty + Geoff Chick
Some of you might recognize this one! I shared this incredible 30A home by Atlanta-based interior designer Meredith McBrearty and architect Geoff Chick & Associates a couple of years ago, and was delighted to see it published in Southern Home magazine with new beautiful photography by Colleen Duffley. It definitely ranks as one of my favorite homes of all time, so I wanted to share it again with the new photos. The article also gave a glimpse into the family that owns the vacation home (if ... HGTV Smart Home 2016 Guest Bedroom
My day was made when I noticed the photos for the HGTV Smart Home 2016 were up on their site! Interior designer Tiffany Brooks did a fantastic job on the entire Raleigh, NC home, but one of my favorite spaces was this vibrant guest bedroom with tons of personality...and turquoise! It was love at first sight if only for the wallpaper, an eye-catching pattern from Eijffinger's Belle de Jour collection. The little nook in the corner is cute too...love how she used the curtains to define the space ... View Post
Katelyn James Photography
Ahhh! Is this not one of the prettiest offices ever?! It belongs to Katelyn James, a Virginia-based wedding photographer who is just as obsessed with turquoisey hues as I am! This space might seem a little familiar to long-time readers as we toured the office in her previous home and it definitely has the same vibe–and pretty paint color: Sherwin Williams “Waterscape”! I love the architectural details in this room so much, and the breezy curtains that she added later! She had that same Pottery ... View Post
HGTV Dream Home 2016
Every year I anxiously await the HGTV Dream Home, and with this year being their 20th anniversary, they certainly didn't disappoint! The amazing Merritt Island, Florida waterfront home was designed by interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn (with furnishings from Ethan Allen) who went with a Hamptons approach to the design, sticking with blue-grays in the main rooms and brighter colors in the private areas. Unlike other years, this Dream Home was a remodel, and thanks to licensed contractor Josh ... View Post
