Guest Blogger: Sara of Embrace My Space
Hi, there! I’m Sara of Embrace My Space, and I’m thrilled to be Erin’s guest this week as she enjoys some down time with her family. House of Turquoise has always been one of my go-to spots for breezy, beautiful design inspiration. Like Erin, I’ve had an ongoing love affair with turquoise (and teal, aqua, seafoam…) for as long as I can remember. I'm honored to have the opportunity to take my fellow House of Turquoise fans on a tour of my home. I hope you enjoy all the shades of turquoise ... View Post
The Handmade Home
A couple years ago I posted one of my favorite home tours, a fabulous Montgomery, Alabama home belonging to the super creative and awesomely talented Ashley and Jamin Mills–writers of one of my very favorite blogs The Handmade Home. In the last two years they've made so many fun changes to their home I thought it was about time we took another tour! The master bedroom and bathroom saw the biggest makeover, a transformation so inspiring that I'm totally stealing some of their ideas for our ... View Post

Minhnuyet Hardy Interiors
I can't imagine a better place to unwind and relax than this gorgeous master suite designed by Atlanta-based Minhnuyet Hardy Interiors, photographed here by Mali Azima! The space is a dream come true for the homeowners: the wife wanted something a little glam but the husband did not want it overly feminine, so Minhnuyet created a space that spoke to both of their wants! The luxe curtains and pillows, custom made from beautiful Kravet fabrics, are my favorite...such a pretty color! Love the ... View Post
The Little Beach House – WaterColor, Florida
It's been a while since we've popped into the 30A area of Florida to check out the dreamy homes! The Little Beach House is a pastel-filled gem located in the heart of WaterColor, with pops of turquoise and pink and plenty of vintage-inspired touches! Once again it's the kitchen that I'm totally gaga over. The pink retro-styled Northstar appliances are just so cute, and I love the island, cafe curtains and cabinetry too! The Lilly Pulitzer drapes and turquoise built-in desk in the master bedroom ... View Post
Carde Reimerdes
There's no better day to rest, recoup and relax than New Year's Day, and this space designed by Carde Reimerdes and photographed by Paulina Arcklin would be the perfect place to do just that! Don't you just adore those shutters and the matching blue rocking chair?! Love the breezy curtains and comfy spot to relax too! Speaking of relax....I'm going to sign off now for the rest of the week for some much-needed R&R! See you back here Monday! P.S. If you love this, you have to see this home ... View Post
LC Interior Design
This has to be one of the chicest nurseries I've seen! The sweet space was designed by Laura Covington, an interior designer out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and photographed by Nick Pironio. Laura actually designed the space for her son Carr who was born last July! They waited to find out if the baby was a boy or girl, so she kept the nursery neutral with pops of turquoise. I love that she converted the closet into a changing station and framed the opening with curtains to mirror the ... View Post
