Joni Webb and Color Healing Radio

March 12, 2010

At the small chance you haven't seen this amazing room by talented designer Joni Webb of Cote de Texas, here it is for your viewing pleasure! My absolute favorite thing about the space is the furniture. The slipcovered sofa and all the lovely pieces covered in Windsor Smith’s seafoam Riad fabric are truly exquisite! I adore the natural element of the burlap, seagrass, and bamboo too. And the aqua walls (Makaha by Pratt and Lambert)...of course. I can't wait to see even more of the room...stay ... View Post

Molly Frey Design (& my bedroom!)

February 19, 2010

Feel like taking a mini-vacation to a friend's coastal home?? Just head over to the portfolio of Molly Frey Design! Need some inspiration or ideas?? She also has a really cool blog waiting for you too. You might recognize some of Molly's work...she's responsible for that "effervescent bathroom" you all loved, as well as the stunning "heavenly kitchen" I posted about back in June. I was excited to learn that Molly is from Marblehead, MA, a charming little coastal town where my cousin and his ... View Post

Jodi’s Beachy Bedroom

February 15, 2010

This beautiful beachy bedroom belongs to my lovely reader Jodi, who lives in Taylor, MI. We've been exchanging emails since last fall when she was in the process of redecorating this room. Now it's all done! Isn't is just a total escape?! Jodi was inspired when she took a trip to the Caribbean and saw the amazing water (the photographs above her bed were actually from her trip). Don't you adore those chests she found at Homegoods? She found the cute lamps there too. Gotta love HomeGoods! The ... View Post

Bonesteel Trout Hall

February 9, 2010

I was so pleased to learn about the Southern California interior design firm Bonesteel Trout Hall from Ashlina of Secrets of Domestic Bliss. Apparently their projects have been in a bunch of our favorite magazines...and I can see why just from these images! What I love about these in particular is that the color is more of an accessory to the rooms. Though there is a lot of turquoise floating around, you still get a very natural, neutral vibe. Love all that stone! (I wonder how many posts I can ... View Post

All About Blue with House Beautiful

February 4, 2010

If you're me and you see a cover like this in your mailbox, you know it's going to be a good day. Then you read the editor's letter only to find that Stephen Drucker mentions your little old blog? Now THAT, my friends, is a fantastic day! Isn't that a hoot?! I can't get over it! Seriously though, if you like blue/turquoise even a little bit, you're going to drool endlessly over this issue. It's jam-packed with so much eye-candy I can hardly stand it. Not only that, but I know many of ... View Post

January 28, 2010

I am loving the comfy, cozy and cool vibe of this home shot by photographer James Salomon. It automatically brings me to the middle of the summer (I swear I even just heard that cute screen door shut!) I think the bedroom is my favorite...the blue and green color scheme is so refreshing. LOVE that painted floor in there too! Check of more beautiful homes lucky enough to be photographed by Jamie over here! ... View Post
