Jodi’s Beachy Bedroom

February 15, 2010

This beautiful beachy bedroom belongs to my lovely reader Jodi, who lives in Taylor, MI. We’ve been exchanging emails since last fall when she was in the process of redecorating this room. Now it’s all done! Isn’t is just a total escape?! Jodi was inspired when she took a trip to the Caribbean and saw the amazing water (the photographs above her bed were actually from her trip). Don’t you adore those chests she found at Homegoods? She found the cute lamps there too. Gotta love HomeGoods! The turquoise glass vase and beachy mirror is from The Christmas Tree Store…wish we had one of those in MN! Lastly that gorgeous shade of aqua on the wall is Tidewater by Sherwin Williams. She says it’s a bit more vibrant in person. Either way, I LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing your room with us, Jodi!

    Love the pretty end table.

I mentioned my addiction to your blog in my post today: http://www.thedesignfile.net/thedesignfile/2010/02/color-modernizes-traditional-chandeliers.html

You inspired a post about colored chandeliers…

Hi Erin. You have a BEAUTIFUL blog. I wrote a piece on a local merchant who used turquoise on their display and linked it back to you. I'm sure my readers will enjoy your blog. If you want to take a peek at my entry, go to: http://theshinypebble.blogspot.com/2010/02/thads.html

I love Jodi's room! I have a sleigh bed like that which was a gift from my bf's mom and I always thought of it as a style blockade, thought I couldn't get the beachy look I love, but Jodi has proved me wrong!

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
