Turquoise and Pink Girl’s Room

January 24, 2011

If anyone can prove that good design doesn’t always have to cost a fortune, it’s the talented Judy of DIY by Design. She recently revealed the transformation of her ten year-old daughter’s room, who requested her space have aqua in it. Judy chose Benjamin Moore Whispering Spring for three of the walls, and stenciled the pink wall all by herself! Amazing! In fact, so much of what you see Judy made by herself, in addition to a few great finds from Home Goods, Target or PB Kids. You have to head over to her blog for more images and to read all about this dreamy space!

    Good morning, Erin!

Did you have a good weekend? Mine was fun but way too cold! 🙂

I am in love with this little girl's room. It's very calming & sweet. I will check her blog, for sure.

If you have a minute, come see my post about an amazing house. I think you'll love the kitchen and the master bedroom. 🙂

Have a very nice day… and I hope you aren't freezing like I am!!! 🙂

    Happy Monday Erin!
This room is sooooo shabby delicious!! I love it!!! I would have probably added MORE turquoise, but that's how I roll! I will definitely check out her blog. I am interested in that stencil on the wall.. stencils used to be so 90's, but they are making a comeback! Have a great week, can't wait to see what you have in store for us!!
    Blessings!

What a beautiful room! What paint color is that turquoise?

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
