Incredible Dream Home

February 5, 2010

You guys aren’t going to believe this, but this home actually belongs to one of my readers! Desireé Ashworth owns and designed this breathtaking Provo, Utah home in collaboration with Alice Lane Home Collection. Desireé is passionate about blues and greens, and says that she and her husband are also obsessed with anything French, Swedish or Belgium. She also has her own blog, Décor de Provence, where she posts beautiful images, filled with French and Gustavian decor. I just loved this post here with pictures of her home decorated for Christmas!

The talented photographer behind these images is Ashlee Raubach. The detail and light she is able to capture is incredible! I know this home is beautiful on its own, but Ashlee turned it into a work of art! Ashlee also has a blog, and waiting there are lots more (and bigger, we all love bigger!) images and information on this stunning home. So head here and here to see more!

Hope you enjoyed the photos and hearing about these talented and super-sweet ladies! Also, thanks so much for all your kind comments yesterday (I’ve never seen so many in my life!)…your support and enthusiasm means the world to me! Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂

****** "I left my hearrrrrrt, in Provo, Utah…….."

Thank you for FINDNG this beautiful home to share with us!!!

We built a delightful lil' ski place in Park City (main house was in St. George) about 7 years ago now, & I STILL HOPE (& promise my heart!) that we will someday return to happily "live out our days".

Utah (or at least the parts of it I know) is the best kept secret on earth!!! There's nothing ELSE LIKE IT!!! She's one VERRRRY lucky woman to wake up n' enjoy those GLORIOUS MOUNAINS & that INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL FRESH AIR everyday!!!

I almost get giddy about the thought of an early, hour-long walk there~~~ with the dawg, the sweeet uz and I!!!

Give me even a caretaker's cottage (like in the Bavarian Alps), a rustic lil' worn out old place, a FP or two, my family & friends whom I so love and VOILS! PARADISE!!! (OnEARTH,no less!)~

THANKS so much~~~ my heart's "all a twitter" at the thought/memories of it all!

This is better than starting the day off with a bowlof Wheaties!
