I love our bedroom, I really do, but given the opportunity I'd trade it in immediately for this one designed by Urban Grace Interiors. It's just so restful and serene, I'm sure my dreams would be so much sweeter here! Love those dark floors, pretty walls, and comfy linens. And the dressers...LOVE those! That's it for my scheduled posts! If things go according to plan, I'll be back from vacation and here with you tomorrow! I hope you enjoyed all the posts while I was away! ... View Post

Guest Blogger: Annette Tatum “Bohemian Inspired Nurseries”
One of the best things about having a baby is designing a nursery in a special style that is designed both for mother and child. When Minnie Driver asked me to design her Hollywood nursery, she wanted the room to have a "bohemian" style that fit her home decor, but also had special touches of whimsy that made the environment more child-like. From the scalloped edges on the window shades, to the cocoon like netting over the crib, the colors and eclectic collection of furntiure all speak to her ... View Post
Tucker & Marks Guestroom & Chi-Town Bound!
I've long been admiring this guestroom designed by Suzanne Tucker and the staff of Tucker & Marks for the 2010 Elle Decor Designer Showhouse. I love everything, and I mean EVERYTHING about this space! Suzanne's own Hatley fabric is used here as wallcovering and I absolutely adore it. That faux coral mirror is so cool too! And the hand-carved beds...*sigh*....they are truly the show-stoppers here. Designer Katie Denham had a fantastic post dedicated to this beautiful room on her blog ... View Post
New Zealand Coastal Cottage
This 430 sq ft home photographed by Paul McCredie and featured in NZ House & Garden seems downright spacious with its awe-inspiring Marlborough Sounds view! The waterside cottage started out as a weekend home for a New Zealand couple, but after only a year they ended up living there full-time. In order to maintain harmony in their small space, they've created a few rules to live by: anything that comes in has to be second-hand, made by them, bought from Trade Aid or their local gallery..."or ... Urban Grace Interiors
What a fantastic kitchen! Designed by Erika Powell of Urban Grace Interiors, I think it's the symmetry here that is really appealing to me. Not only gorgeous, the room is so versatile and family friendly too. I love that it's its own space, yet connected to the other rooms with the windows. In case you haven't been stalking Erika's blog for years like me, definitely check it out here, and see more of her work on her website! ... View Post
Honeymoon Recap!
As promised, more honeymoon photos for you guys! It was truly an amazing two weeks. All along we knew we really wanted to spend two weeks by turquoise waters, so budget-wise Mexico was the best option for us. We did a lot of research and fell in love with two resorts. Being the indecisive people we are, we opted to spend one week at each! The first one, El Dorado Casitas Royale, was out-of-this-world. It was secluded and private, so green and lush, and most importantly...entirely romantic. We ... View Post
Sukkertøy for øyet
Do you ever discover a blog that immediately casts a spell on you?? Where you know it's going to be long night because if you don't get through the entire archive you won't be able to sleep?? That's how I felt when I laid my eyes on the dreamy home of Ida and her blog Sukkertøy for øyet. I didn't need Google Translate to tell me that meant "Candy for the Eye" in Norwegian. And candy it IS. Seriously. How entirely yummy are these images??? This barely skims this surface people. Go see for ... View Post
