Another all-time favorite today! I still remember the first time I saw this space designed by Jim Howard. I couldn't help but think whoever lived there must love turquoise as much as I do!! (And how lucky they were to call it their own!) I can't get enough of all those turquoise fabrics in the bedroom, and that striped rug. I NEED that rug!! I'm so addicted to stripes right now! ... Cameras and Chaos Laundry Room
I have one very talented reader I'd like to introduce you to today: Cindy of Cameras and Chaos. One quick look at her blog and you know she loves turquoise as much as I do. If that's not a good reason to love her (in my book it is), she is one fantastic photographer and a genius DIYer. Put those together and you have a really awesome blog. You may remember her cute bathroom I featured before? I think this may top it. Not only does it serve as her laundry room, but also a mud room and coat ... View Post
Paddles & Paws
Hitting up Tybee Island, Georgia has been on my to-do list ever since I learned of the one and only Jane Coslick. There's just something about every one of her designs....so colorful and friendly, where you can kick-back and relax the day away. I just get the sense the whole island is like that. This cottage is Jane's most recent undertaking, she shared a peek on her blog. Isn't it delightful?! Luckily for us, it will be available to rent by late spring through Mermaid Cottages. Sign me up!! And ... View Post
Around the World
You know it's going to be a good day when you learn that Designers Guild has new stuff! These photos actually showcase one of their new collections, Around the World, that I learned about from my friends over at Hirshfield's Color Club. I know it's not a ton of turquoise, but doesn't even just littlest bit make any room better?! These are entirely cheery and fun! Marsha actually shared quite a bit of eye candy and inspiration, so head here for more! ... View Post
Libby Langdon
I love how designer Libby Langdon manages to incorporate a slight nautical theme into this Newport, Rhode Island guestroom, while keeping the look simple and elegant. I just want to crack open the door and listen to the waves! Don't you agree the gorgeous wall color is such a great complement to the crisp bedding? You don't want to miss out on the rest of the home, I know you'll LOVE it, so head on over here! ... View Post
Kathryn Chaplow
A ton of new snow was just dumped on Minnesota, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming about summer! I'd love to have a lake home just like this Lake Michigan cottage designed by Kathryn Chaplow. Actually I'd love to just have a home like this one, it really doesn't even need to be by a lake! That serene bedroom is a slice of heaven! Love the aqua, the ceilings, the little nook...all so pretty. What about the porch...how fun is that red animal print?! And did you notice the blue and green fabric ... View Post
The Farmer Nursery
While anxiously awaiting the birth of her new son, my super-talented (and super-sweet) reader Robyn of The Farmer Family just put the final touches on this beautifully harmonious nursery. The only thing that could possibly improve it would be the addition of her soon-to-be-born little one! How gorgeous is the fabric she selected for the bedding and curtains?! Believe it or not, she didn't even plan it when she picked it out, it just happened to perfectly match the existing wall color! You're all ... View Post
Susan Gilmore
Love. It. All. This drop-dead Minneapolis kitchen designed by Albertsson Hansen Architecture was brought to life by talented photographer Susan Gilmore. So much to love, no?! I'm crazy about the blue light-filled breakfast area, the awesome windows, the dark floors and white tile walls. Talk about the perfect combination of light and dark polished off with splashes of juicy color. It doesn't get any better than this in my book! ... View Post
