I just love me a quaint and cozy cottage. This two-room cabin in Nantucket photographed by Michael Partenio is surely one of the cutest I've ever come across. Designed by Kathleen Hay, the renovated space features pickled white oak floors and white horizontal paneling on the walls. I could spend hours sifting through the portfolio of Phoebe Howard. It seems every time I get drawn into her dreamy world I discover something new. I recently read a Q&A in the Washington Post where Phoebe talked about her design philosophies. A hallmark of her style is the use of color in a monochromatic way. I immediately bookmarked interior design firm RLH Studio when they won honorable mention in the Show Off Your Schumacher Wallcovering contest (and not just because they are from Minneapolis!)
