I just love these easy breezy rooms with their sand and sky colors and comfy furniture. I am absolutely smitten with the club chairs in the last photo with that great suzani fabric. A lot style, a lot of function...that's my kind of kitchen. This one designed by Andrea Dixon and Jen Ziemer of Fiddlehead Design Group out of Minneapolis has all that covered and more! The owners of this early twentieth century Victorian home wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home, while adding more storage and better workflow in their kitchen. I could literally spend all day reading Scandinavian blogs, hopping endlessly from one to another. Yesterday I discovered the dreamy gem Cecilies Lykke, where the Norwegian blogger Cecilie fed my soul with her beautiful, enchanting photography. I'm battling some sort of bug today, but I couldn't help but share this stunning sunroom designed by Ingrid Fretheim Interiors and photographed by Emily Minton Redfield that graces the recent cover of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles. Can you imagine the fun designer and artist Tracy Rivers of Little Rock's Angelfish Studios must have had when creating this luxury retreat for a 7-year old girl? Since it's not an everyday room for her, her grandparents wanted the space to be over the top, where she can be inspired during her visits. In my book, no one interprets it better than the design firm Bonesteel Trout Hall, whose style epitomizes the laid back glamour of the California lifestyle.
