This 430 sq ft home photographed by Paul McCredie and featured in NZ House & Garden seems downright spacious with its awe-inspiring Marlborough Sounds view! The waterside cottage started out as a weekend home for a New Zealand couple, but after only a year they ended up living there full-time. In order to maintain harmony in their small space, they’ve created a few rules to live by: anything that comes in has to be second-hand, made by them, bought from Trade Aid or their local gallery…”or so wonderful it is an exception to the rules!” (I don’t know about you, but that last one never really works for me!)
So, so cozy – and the VIEW! I´d not be able to leave home for work if I lived there..! 😀
mmm, so paradisiac!!
I'd be delighted to have breakfast in that veranda…
with a view like that I'll be lazy the whole day… but happy ♥
Oh my! I have always wanted to visit NZ and now I do more than ever! thanks so much for sharing!

I'd live in 430 sq ft of living space for that view, too. And it looks like it's right on the water. Nice. It's a cheerful, bright, fun place.
WHAT A VIEW!!!!!! I love the pops of red!
To have a terrace with such a beautiful view! Amazing location. :)Ada
The wall color is beautiful and the views are gorgeous!
A bit much pale blue green for me, but the view and the location is to die for. Charming little house!

Ladies I'm from New Zealand. There are loads of places over here with views like this. Come for a visit you wont be disappointed.
I knew the house was in New Zealand before even seeing the photo of the view – it just has such a Kiwi feel to it ahhhhh reminds me of every holiday home I stayed in as a kid.
Check out that red couch amidst all that turquoise!! I love your blog really 🙂
