Gordon James Construction | Grace Hill Design

July 12, 2016

I love when I get to share great design so close to home! This cottage-style stunner located in Orono, Minnesota was built by Gordon James Construction with interior design by Grace Hill Design, and was party of the recent Artisan Home Tour in our area. The updated, coastal feel is perfect for its setting, and the color palette throughout is so fresh and fun! Love the mix of blues, greens and reds! (Hello, Chiang Mai Dragon!) Note to self: my next home needs to have a butler’s pantry. Especially with an open kitchen like that, how smart to have a place to prep or stash dirty dishes…then just shut that sliding door and be done with it! The master suite is absolutely beautiful too. Love the shiplap! And that shower?! Oh my word. There’s still so much to see (like the party-ready lower level)! Go here to finish the tour!

I've always wanted one of those sliding barn like doors. And, the picture window nook is to die for. Beautiful home.

Is there a source list? So many items and paint colors that I love! I visited designer and builder website and didn't see anything.

Boy, I haven't seen Chiang Mai Dragon in a while, but Grace Hill Ints. picked the perfect colorway for that kitchen. I want it. Great space and excellent interior finishes.

Great design. Of course, with your favorite turquoise color, everything looks so fresh and stylish. I love the living room with fire place and high ceilings. It looks so comfortable and cozy.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
