My Monday is a whole lot dreamier thanks to Micasa and this incredible country home located on Spanish island of Formentera. Less than a mile to the beach and the turquoise water of the Mediterranean, the idyllic getaway is surrounded by some of the most beautiful outdoor areas I've ever seen. Can you even imagine an afternoon spent relaxing in the area above? Or a leisurely meal under the porch below?! Absolutely magical! The breezy interior is just as beautiful with its soft color palette, ... View Post

Studio Steidley
This beautiful home situated on the edge of Lake Texoma is full of droolworthy details! Interior designer Staci Steidley of Plano, Texas-based Studio Steidley blended rustic and modern elements for a warm and cozy vibe that's perfect for life at the lake. I can't even tell you how much I love the kitchen. The weathered wood island, vent hood and shelves add a ton of warmth and charm to an otherwise sleek white space. The pops of turquoise are just the cherry on top! The style and colors flow ... View Post
George Penniman Architects
Longtime readers might recognize this home...or at least the delightful turquoise pantry door above! I shared some of these photos several years ago but when I stumbled on more images and an article on the oceanfront beach cottage, I thought the whole tour would be worth sharing again–it's that beautiful! The energy-efficient LEED Silver home in Weekapaug, Rhode Island was designed by George Penniman Architects and built by Evergreen Building Systems, with interior design by Susan Haynes. ... Jenny Madden Design
After a family's beloved beach house in Normandy Beach, New Jersey was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, they enlisted the help of interior designer (and fellow turquoise lover!) Jenny Madden of Jersey City-based Jenny Madden Design in the home's rebuild. Sea glass, sea grass and seashells were the inspiration behind the home's peaceful palette, with pretty blue-green hues popping up throughout. I just love this open and airy living room with its grasscloth walls, coffered ceiling and built-in ... View Post
A Pirate’s Life For Me – Houseboat
What could possibly make a vacation to Charleston, South Carolina any better? Staying in a houseboat! A Pirate's Life For Me has to be one of the coolest houseboats I've come across. (Aside from this one in Rhode Island, of course!) Featured on Tiny House Hunters, this floating abode was gutted and completely rebuilt using reclaimed materials, sweat and love. I cannot stop drooling over the turquoise ceiling...hands down my favorite element. The floor is beautiful too though, and I'm loving the ... View Post

There are SO many amazing turquoise-filled homes out there; so many incredibly talented designers, photographers, builders and architects, it's truly such a joy getting to share what I love with you. Without further ado, here are the most popular posts of 2017. (In case you ... View Post
Penney & Company
There's no denying interior designer Michael Penney of Penney & Company is a fan of blue...his family's home in Oshawa, Ontario is brimming with watery hues! I especially love it decked out for the holidays as seen in Style at Home with photographs by Donna Griffith. There are charming details around every corner, but my favorite space has to be the delightful blue-filled kitchen above. The space is original to the older home, but I love how the designer updated it with marble countertops, a ... View Post
Meredith McBrearty + Geoff Chick
Some of you might recognize this one! I shared this incredible 30A home by Atlanta-based interior designer Meredith McBrearty and architect Geoff Chick & Associates a couple of years ago, and was delighted to see it published in Southern Home magazine with new beautiful photography by Colleen Duffley. It definitely ranks as one of my favorite homes of all time, so I wanted to share it again with the new photos. The article also gave a glimpse into the family that owns the vacation home (if ...
