Longtime readers might recognize this home…or at least the delightful turquoise pantry door above! I shared some of these photos several years ago but when I stumbled on more images and an article on the oceanfront beach cottage, I thought the whole tour would be worth sharing again–it’s that beautiful! The energy-efficient LEED Silver home in Weekapaug, Rhode Island was designed by George Penniman Architects and built by Evergreen Building Systems, with interior design by Susan Haynes. Popping up throughout is the owner’s favorite color–turquoise! I especially love how it’s used in the gorgeous light-filled kitchen designed by Betsy House Kitchen & Bath Designs. Scroll down for more photos captured by Warren Jagger and styled by Lynda Sutton!
The cheery turquoise and orange combo used throughout is perfect for a beach house!
The screened porch with an incredible view of Block Island Sound is out-of-this-world dreamy!
The coved dormer is as beautiful as the ocean view. I’m not sure I’d be able to get any work done in this office!
A sleeping porch complete with hanging bed?! Heavenly!
Loving all of the haint blue porch ceilings!

I remember this home – the only thing more beautiful than the house is the view! Thanks for revisiting!

This home is so peaceful. That coved dormer! It is so pleasing to the eye and organic, much nicer than 90 degree angles and sharp edges. Plus, it looks like a wave, so mimics the ocean view. That sleeping porch! The only thing better would be a tin roof over it and a nice, gentle summer rain. Heaven!
