Longtime readers might recognize this one! Designed by interior designer Eileen Marcuvitz of Plum Interiors and architect Christopher Arner, the turquoise-filled East Greenwich, Rhode Island home is one of my all-time favorites! (Can you tell why?!) I blogged about it before a couple of years ago and was excited to see even more of it when it was featured in New England Home. The homeowners wanted a bright, open floor plan with a relaxed, beachy vibe. And with three small children, they also needed it to be family friendly! The talented Newport-based interior designer went with a turquoise theme as a chic nod to the coast, knowing it would be a happy backdrop for the active family. I’m so in love with how she used the color in the kitchen and adjoining family room–the turquoise just pops on the sand-hued background! The sectional is all sorts of fabulous, as are the window seats in both spaces! And how gorgeous is that Ann Sacks tile in the bathroom?! *drool* You can read the story all about the home and see more photos by Nat Rea right over here!
Have a great weekend everyone!
