Fun meets fresh in this fantastic space designed by Portuguese designer Maria Barros. I'm such a fan of an all-white space spruced up with color...can you see why?? It feels so alive! I'm loving her juicy color palette of aqua, orange and pink, and the mix of great patterns. Did you guys recognize those great prints on the walls?? They are by The Pink Pagoda (I'm a long-time fan of Jennifer's work...so cool to see it in action!) For more colorful eye candy from Maria, visit her website here, or ... View Post
Guest Blogger: Virginia Roberts from Lovebug
Hi everyone, I'm Virginia! Like Erin, I'm totally obsessed with turquoise. I'm a new homeowner in Seattle who's still in the "paranoid and broke" phase, but I was determined to create a soothing space to meet with clients now that I finally have a home office.Isn't the chair darling? It's from Pottery Barn Teen! I love how it complements the wall color... which is actually SEVEN different turquoises mixed together, free from a local paint drive, and I only paid $15 for painting supplies. That ... View Post

Luke Thornewill + Janet Kielley
I'm seriously loving all the great home tours on Country Living lately! This Nantucket cottage photographed by Gridley + Graves is especially calling my name–I'm obsessed with all things Nantucket! The owners worked with architect Luke Thornewill and interior designer Janet Kielley on the two-year-long renovation of the historic cottage. (With the sea right there, who can complain?!) I love the cute kitchen...did you notice they used a piece of driftwood for the handle on the fridge? I've never ... View Post
Graciela Rutkowski Interiors
I've already shared this fab-u-lous Imperial Trellis bathroom before, but when Sue over at The Zhush recently shared it along with a slew of great designs from Graciela Rutkowski Interiors, I knew I'd be taking my turn! So much beautiful gray-blue and green, I just love it! Did you see those upholstered dining chairs?! Oh my gosh, I need them in my home!! Graciela recently opened a store in Seattle called GR Home, which looks to be filled with some really great things. Anyone have the chance to ... View Post
Garrison Hullinger Interior Design
We've already seen (and unanimously loved) a kitchen designed by Garrison Hullinger, the talented interior designer out of Portland, Oregon. Here are more turquoise-infused photos that I'm drooling over from his extensive portfolio, taken by Blackstone Edge Studios. I love that Garrison prefers palettes inspired by the “amber waves of grain” landscapes of his Midwest childhood. (Yay for the Midwest!) But he definitely amps it up with fantastic color and texture too! I think my favorite room here ... View Post
Amy Meier Design
These super-chic rooms designed by San Diego interior designer Amy Meier and photographed by Michael J. Lee are packed to the gills with drool-worthy details! I love the unique furnishings, harmonious colors and beautiful fabrics. That daybed in the top guestroom is just incredible! Love the desk with the aqua shelves there too, so beautiful. The serene master bedroom is equally as lovely, I love the little sitting area. And check out that study! Painted wainscoting, built-ins and trim?! Yes ... View Post
