Maria Barros + The Pink Pagoda

July 12, 2012

Fun meets fresh in this fantastic space designed by Portuguese designer Maria Barros. I’m such a fan of an all-white space spruced up with color…can you see why?? It feels so alive! I’m loving her juicy color palette of aqua, orange and pink, and the mix of great patterns. Did you guys recognize those great prints on the walls?? They are by The Pink Pagoda (I’m a long-time fan of Jennifer’s work…so cool to see it in action!) For more colorful eye candy from Maria, visit her website here, or check out Jennifer’s blog post here!

(Ooh I just noticed that The Pink Pagoda is currently having a sale…20% off with coupon code JULYSALE20!)

I am surprised to see the two classic modern chairs. The Miniature Tulip Chair by Eero Saarinen and then the Eames Lounge Chair. Both of the chair were designed in the 50's and they are still fabulous looking.

What a beautiful space! If I was living alone, I would totally rock the turquoise and coral. I don't think my husband would go for it… maybe I'll try anyway. So light and airy!

Just love tulip chairs. Especially when the modern chairs are paired with a more traditional table.
