Luke Thornewill + Janet Kielley

June 29, 2012

I’m seriously loving all the great home tours on Country Living lately! This Nantucket cottage photographed by Gridley + Graves is especially calling my name–I’m obsessed with all things Nantucket! The owners worked with architect Luke Thornewill and interior designer Janet Kielley on the two-year-long renovation of the historic cottage. (With the sea right there, who can complain?!) I love the cute kitchen…did you notice they used a piece of driftwood for the handle on the fridge? I’ve never seen that before! Get even more ideas when you tour the rest of the home here!

Chance

I’m getting ready to start packing here…Chris and I are headed on a vacation to Chicago, one of our favorite places! (It’s no Nantucket, but they do have a really big lake!) I’ll be away from the computer all next week, but look forward to some great guest bloggers filling in for me! Have a wonderful week, and enjoy the upcoming holiday! 🙂

This was a big dose of charm, charm and more charm!!!! The soothing palette, that mini aga stove….it's all like a fresh breeze!

Have the BEST time in Chicago. Hopefully it will be cooling down…it's like a major heat blast in the middle of the country right now.

I am SO in love with this cottage! And anything coastal… even my dress-code this summer is all navy and teal/turqouise… giggles… my cottage gets pepperd with seafoam and seashells during the summer.. and my soul aches for the sea! Sigh….
