Walters Homes

November 8, 2017

Ocean views from nearly every room?! I’ll take it! This custom beach home on Long Beach Island, New Jersey built by Walters Homes is filled with a relaxing surf, sand and sea color palette that beautifully blurs the line between indoors and out. The kitchen is downright gorgeous with its two-tone cabinets, vaulted ceiling and of course the dreamy aqua backsplash! Loving the pretty paisley print on the roman shade too!

The open floor plan is bright and airy, and perfect for the family to spend time together. The living room feels so cozy!

The calming neutral hues keep the focus on the view–where it should be! I love all the windows.

Plenty of porch space to take in those ocean breezes…and just wait until you see the incredible view from the rooftop deck! Finish the tour with more photos by John Martinelli right over here!

If you love the look of a turquoise backsplash, check out my post dedicated to them here!

I agree with your opinion of this one. At first I didn’t really think the decor was exceptional, but noticed I was drawn to what was outside the room in the photos. Therein is the genius in this one! If it were decorated with bolder hues, I imagine the experience of being in this house would be drastically different.

This is so beautiful. I am always drawn to houses where there are lots of windows. I love the light. I guess I could say I “crave” the light!

I was looking in your archives at turquoise backsplash tile and I found some I absolutely love. It’s in the Incredible Dream Home posted 2/5/2010 and is used for the kitchen backsplash. Is there any way to find out if it is still available and where? I know since it’s that long ago the chances are slim, but I’d LOVE it in my bathroom.

I love your posts and your blog shop. Such eye candy!

Thanks Naomi!! I LOVE that kitchen, it’s still one of my favorites! The only thing I know about that tile is that it is from Ann Sacks. It’s gorgeous!!!

There are a lot of things I could talk about here, but I just wanna mention the kitchen backsplash: it’s gorgeous! Maybe not the most popular choice, but I think it’s great!
