I can’t say I’ve ever seen cinder block walls look so bright and beachy! Tidewater Retreat, a cute and cozy vacation rental duplex on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, received one heck of a renovation last summer. We’re talking all new everything. Top of the line kitchen appliances, quartz counter tops, new heating and AC, new floors, all new furniture…not to mention loads of pretty paint for those walls! Each side even has an outdoor shower, one of my beach house must-haves! My favorite element might be the shingle accent walls in the bedrooms though…they add so much warmth and coastal charm to the space! The home can be rented as separate units or all together (each side has 2 bedrooms and one bath) and it’s only a five-minute walk to the beach!
