The Tale of a Mermaid – Nags Head, NC

August 14, 2015

If I was driving around Nags Head, NC, you can bet I’d stop and take a photo of this cheery turquoise cottage! How fun that we get to actually tour the inside! The Tale of a Mermaid was built around 1953, but received a total renovation a few years back. I love that they kept all the original charm while adding some modern comforts! The cottage’s decor definitely reflects its location…the beach is just right across the street! In addition to the happy color palette and coastal accents, I love the screened-in porch and outdoor shower…two beach house must-haves if you ask me! Finish your tour of the home and get rental info right here!

Happy Weekend!! 🙂
