Jane Coslick’s Cottage on the Green – Tybee Island

August 16, 2013

Leave it to only Jane Coslick to transform a building that started out as quarters used for soldiers during the Spanish-American War into this!! The absolute gem of a cottage is now a vacation rental duplex on my beloved Tybee Island, Georgia! Every single room is enough to put a smile on your face…I can only imagine how happy I’d be staying there! My two favorite spaces are the bedroom with the matching turquoise Jenny Lind beds, and the breezy sleeping porch with the fab pink bed…I can’t think of a better place for a nap! Both units in the duplex are available for rent; check out A and B for tons more pics and all the info! And head on over to Jane’s blog for inspiration galore and behind-the-scenes fun!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Only 11 days now until our baby boy is due! Did I tell you I’m excited?!?

I was going to say that I'll do a coin toss with your for the pink bed in the sleeping porch, but since your son (!) will be here soon, you have first dibs. I loved every room. The kitchen is totally adorable. The twin jenny linds – the art work is perfect for the bedding. The patio – sigh … all of it, all of it.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy receiving your daily posts in my email box. We share a love for pretty colors and turquoises/aquas and you bring to us such great decor ideas and inspiration on your blog. Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your little one and, dear, we will all understand that once the baby comes, you are going to have your hands full and the blog will come second! It's okay! It takes a lot of work to maintain a blog and keep it interesting; you are going to need that time and energy for your whole new life as a family. Again, my opinion, but pace yourself, enjoy every minute of motherhood, keep well and have the time of your life!

    Dear Erin,
I am the owner of Cottage on the Green A & B. I was so thrilled when Jane texted me that you have featured my 2 cottages! I have loved your blog for so long and I feel so privileged to have landed on as a featured cottage. Jane Coslick did such an amazing job, of course, in everything you see, but also in what you don't see, the hours she spent project managing the renovation since I live on the West coast and left it to her and my daughter, Capri and our amazing contractor, Tony Petrea. I hope you can come stay with the new little one very soon! Thank you so much for this gift of sharing with all your followers.

They are so adorable! In a livable way. We visited Tybee Island in 2002ish and I fell in love with it! Last year we didn’t have time to pop out to it since we had to head back to Atlanta to catch our flight home. Probably will never visit it again, but I’ll always have that one glorious visit! And the sand from the visit (it may have been March but I did stand in the ocean & get sandy feet & jeans!).

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
