Liz Carroll Interiors

March 20, 2014

I was super excited to flip through the March issue Coastal Living to see this cheery beach home designed by Liz Carroll Interiors! I'm a big fan of Liz's work–the North Carolina designer's spaces are always so fresh and stylish, but family-friendly and fun too! This Wrightsville Beach house photographed by Allison Potter is a perfect example! From the the serene bedroom painted Gray Cashmere by Benjamin Moore and the dreamy aqua backplash to the vibrant headboard covered in Trina Turk fabric ... View Post

Mountain Cabinetry

March 18, 2014

Ooh la la, a turquoise laundry room! We're looking at another great space designed by Craig Veenker of Mountain Cabinetry, photographed here by Jared Medley. Not only laundry, but a work space and wrapping station too?! Love! I imagine the room isn't normally this uncluttered (at least if it were mine!) although all the space and storage would make my life a lot more orderly! And of course there's the cabinets painted "Lagoon" from the M.L. Campbell wood finishing systems products. Just ... View Post

“A Sight to Sea” – Seaside, Florida

March 14, 2014

Have you ever gone on vacation and were so excited to discover the place you were staying was so much more than you were expecting?? That's what happened when we got to our condo "A Sight to Sea" in Seaside, Florida! I found it on VRBO and had seen photos and reviews, but was still blown away. It was absolutely adorable, so bright and cheery....and huge!! These photos really don't do the size justice. It was two floors, the master bedroom with huge vaulted ceilings, views of the ocean, a private ... View Post

SummerHouse Interior Design

March 11, 2014

From the serene color palette to the chic beachy accessories, it's clear this home was inspired by the sea! Interior designer Elizabeth Gullett of SummerHouse Interior Design in Ridgeland, Mississippi stayed true to her trademark style for this carriage house located in Grayton Beach, Florida. It's soft yet crisp, current yet classic, and elegant but relaxed. I'm especially loving the mixture of textures, the shimmery backsplash, and those slipcovered swivel chairs in the living room! The view ... View Post

Craig Veenker

March 7, 2014

I cannot even imagine having a kitchen this beautiful! Making dreams come true left and right was custom cabinetry designer Craig Veenker of Mountain Cabinetry out of Heber, Utah. Let's talk about that island first–it is after all the reason this kitchen made it here in the first place! It's painted Benjamin Moore's Wedgewood Gray. LOVE. IT. If I had an island to paint, this would convince me to do it! I'm really loving that gorgeous hutch too, what a perfect place to display dishes! Craig was ... View Post

Tobi Fairley

February 28, 2014

If there's one place you can have fun with your decor, it's a cabana and pool house! (We should all be so lucky!) Little Rock interior designer Tobi Fairley brought her signature bold use of color and vivid patterns to this outdoor retreat, perfect for hosting family and friends! The gorgeous glass tile backsplash by Mirage took my breath away...the perfect color! Love it paired with the black and white stripes and pops of orange! You can see more photos by Nancy Nolan and read the article all ... View Post

I love looking through the Flatfish Island Designs website and dreaming of building a new home! I've always loved floor plans and all the possibilities! Nantucket Architecture Group

February 24, 2014

One of my favorite places on earth is Sconset on the island of Nantucket. I'd drop everything to move there, and this bright and cheery 1930's cottage renovated by Nantucket Architecture Group would make my dream complete! It's not filled with turquoise, but the pops of it had me at hello! (And any home with Big Chill appliances is a winner in my book!) All of the dramatic white really makes the fun colors stand out, doesn't it? I'm seriously loving that retro kitchen most...what a cool room! ... View Post
