Dream Finders Homes

March 7, 2016

It's not too often I see a model home so beautifully decorated I'd be ready to move in right away! Leave it to Dream Finders Homes, a builder with homes in Northeast FL, GA, CO, and TX, to leave me inspired on this Monday morning! There are so many reasons I'm loving this home designed by Jennifer Hardy of Inhabit-Interiors, from the functional floor plan to the stunning architectural details (the ceilings are fab!)...not to mention the serene color palette throughout! The kitchen is to-die-for, ... View Post

Mercury Mosaics

March 4, 2016

How fun is this retro-inspired kitchen?! The colorful tile from Mercury Mosaics, a company that creates handmade artisan tile right here in Minneapolis, is the perfect finishing touch! (Though you know I'm absolutely in love with the Big Chill appliances!) The checkerboard floor and sunny dining nook definitely add to the laid-back, retro vibe too. It might be small on space, but this kitchen is big on style! For tons more design inspiration, you have to visit Mercury Mosaics' gallery–it's ... View Post

March 2, 2016

I'm always ready for a virtual escape and this amazing home located on the island of St. Kitts definitely fits the bill! Designed by Herlong & Associates Architecture + Interiors and constructed by Charleston-based Bennett Hofford Construction, the Caribbean retreat (photographed by Meredith Brower and Holger Obenaus) perfectly captures the island’s lifestyle! The kitchen, designed by Signature Kitchens & Baths of Charleston, is one of my favorite spaces...love that curved island with ... View Post

Templer Interiors

March 1, 2016

This bright and beautiful Auckland, New Zealand kitchen was designed by Susan Templer, owner and principal of Templer Interiors. Isn't it absolute perfection?! The droolworthy space (captured by Larnie Nicolson) has so much to love...a pretty wall color (Resene's Robin's Egg Blue), gorgeous farmhouse sinks, classic subway tile, a great mix of shimmery hardware, stunning faucets, custom-made cabinets, high-end appliances and porcelain floor tiles made to look like oak! The colorful Italian glass ... View Post

Anne Michaelsen Design

February 29, 2016

Ohhhh you know this one has my heart pitter-pattering! The Little Balboa Island home was designed by Anne Michaelsen-Yahn, the founder of Newport Beach, California-based Anne Michaelsen Design. She wanted to reinvent the classic beach house by elevating it's elegance while preserving its charm, and adding a dose of modernism to appeal to the stylish sensibilities of it's owners! We are definitely discussing that turquoise bathroom first....so gorgeous! I adore the color of the tiles and how it ... View Post

Crisp Architects

February 26, 2016

My husband Chris and I love to daydream about renovating a farmhouse...I can't wait for him to see this one by Crisp Architects! The clients loved the charm of their New York home, but felt it really needed some updating. After an entire interior gut renovation, new windows, and restored siding, the home is modernized yet filled with timeless style! Love all of the architectural details, especially the built-ins. Such a beautiful kitchen too! See more photos of the home by Rob Karosis right ... View Post

Emerald Coast Real Estate Photography

February 23, 2016

I'm headed back to Minnesota today, so sad to be leaving Florida! It's seriously such a dream along 30A. I'm more obsessed than ever with all the houses, wanting to get a peek inside! We actually walked by this incredible Rosemary Beach house the other day (the neighborhood really is as picturesque as it looks–including that house across the street!). So imagine my delight to find these images of the home taken by Will Sullivan of Emerald Coast Real Estate Photography...with its incredible Gulf ... View Post
