You know you have a special kitchen when Julia Child spent her childhood in the home! The current homeowner Kristin Harrison spent two years renovating the space inside the 1909 historic home located in Pasadena, California. She worked with interior designer Charmean Neithart and architect Warren Techentin to create a charming space with vintage authenticity combined with modern amenities! The real show-stopper for me is the beadboard ceiling, painted the most delightful shade of aqua (Benjamin ... View Post
Hutker Architects
When I think of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, it's always shingle style homes that come to mind! The Cape Cod architecture and interior design firm Hutker Architects shows us there's so much more diversity going on. The firm has designed over two hundred homes in coastal New England, all of which avoid a single style. I have such a fondness for sleek lines and open spaces, not to mention huge windows everywhere, so I immediately fell for this project. What I love most is that they incorporated ... View Post

A dream kitchen and bathroom...what more can you ask for?! This incredible home was designed by Marsha Faulkner of Studio M Interior Design out of Jacksonville, Florida. Historical Concepts
Not only is this cottage totally adorable, it's steeped in history! The marshfront cottage was built by Henry Ford around 1930 and is located on the Ford Plantation (which is now a private sporting club) near Savannah, Georgia. The old building was supposed to be torn down, but new owners loved the history and the charming bones so much that they enlisted Jim Strickland of the architectural firm Historical Concepts to save the home! Wouldn't you love to live here?? The beautiful view, all those ... View Post
