Not only is this home designed by Christopher Rose Architects incredibly beautiful, but it was also the first home on Kiawah Island, South Carolina to receive LEED certification for its sustainable construction methods and materials! I’m just loving the great room, photographed by Jim Somerset, with its aqua-colored walls (Teresa’s Green No. 236 by Farrow and Ball)…they look amazing paired with the navy and white furniture, not to mention creamy kitchen cabinets! The French doors and fab coffered ceiling are great too! For more impressive residences designed by Christopher Rose Architects, head right over here!

I am in love with that room! The blues are beautiful!
That room looks fantastic. Aqua and navy – who knew?!
I am a blue and white lover…the kitchen is a dream…beautiful french doors to the deck. Thanks for the inspiration!
I already feel relaxed just viewing the photos. I too love the glass french doors to the deck.
Picture after picture, I thought "I like that wall colour" and then you mentioned "Teresa's Green"… I sould have now from picture 1!
The blues are beautiful as usual but it's the not-quite-white in the kitchen that is drawing my attention.
Thanks as always ~ Mary
Any chance I can find out where that entry lantern is from? So beautiful.
