Kelly Ferm Inc.

January 13, 2017

My jaw seriously dropped when I saw this incredible beachside home in Dana Point, California! Designed by Kelly Ferm, the principal designer of Kelly Ferm Inc. and owner and curator of 707 Circle Lane Fine Furnishings Boutique in Claremont, CA, the light and airy home was perfectly captured here by Mike Kelley and Karyn Millet. I just love how Kelly layered natural elements and neutral tones with cool ocean-inspired hues for a vibe that’s undeniably soothing. And not only is the home gorgeous, it’s also durable enough to withstand sand, water, kids, dogs and friends–like any good beach house should! It’s truly the views though that made my heart pitter-patter! Imagine having that in your backyard?! *sigh* You can read the heartwarming story behind the home at Luxe Interiors + Design, and for more design inspiration, visit Kelly’s blog!

Have a great weekend everyone!

The turquoise dresser and the magnolia blossom (?) mirror so, so gorgeous! I also love the beach and surf painting hung underneath what looks like an old boat. I’ve been looking for a beach image to hang over my coastal-themed bedroom. That on will do! Fine eye sweets!

I absolutely adore everything! Quick question… in the dining room pic there are distressed frames with a matte-less (floating pic). Do you know where the frames are from? Love them and was looking to do something similar to this in my dining room. TIA!

This place is like heaven on earth, between the ocean view and the beautiful home, there is nothing more that I would need! I loved the different ways of using the colors, from the darker and bolder hue on the chest in the dining room to the lighter and more subtle on the bedroom chest. Just magnificent!
