No one mixes modern finishes with southern charm quite like Artisan Signature Homes! And when they work with decorator, stylist and aqua-lover Gretchen Black, it’s a match made in design heaven! Together this husband and wife team build and design homes in the Louisville, Kentucky area, with one of my favorite projects being this amazing Norton Commons home that was part of Homearama 2016. Along with the coastal elements and rustic details (hello shiplap and barn door!), the bright and airy color scheme totally won me over! I love how the talented designer mixed color, pattern and texture to create a home that feels comfortable and welcoming. The aqua accents throughout are perfection, especially in the cute little pocket office off the kitchen! You can see more of the home (captured by Tim Furlong Jr.) right over here! And if you’re in the Prospect area, a visit to Gretchen’s boutique Lulubelles looks like a must!
Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂

I love it, although to be perfectly honest, I’m already tired of brass everywhere all the time. Still it’s light and bright and comfortable. The rug in the living room is fabulous!

I don’t know who that home belongs too but that is one nice house. I’d like to live in it.

I never realized how clean and inviting white and turquoise are together – which is weird because turquoise is my favorite color, too! That wrap-around porch is what really sold me (not because I saw something turquoise but because a porch like that is the stuff of my home-owning fantasies). I have to bookmark you.

Hello,
Love the kitchen. Is there anyway I can get the dimensions of the kitchen? The wall from the refrigerator to the end of the cabinets. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much
