Beth Lindsey Interior Design

August 7, 2017

Any fans of HGTV’s Drew and Jonathan Scott out there? (Me, me!) You might recognize this one from Brother Vs. Brother! Houston-based interior designer Beth Lindsey was the lead designer on the (winning!!) project for Drew Scott–this amazing turquoise-filled Galveston, Texas beach house! In six short weeks they completely transformed the two-story 1,750 sq. ft. waterfront house by reconfiguring the floor plan and gutting the interior (gone with the dated paneling and shag carpet!), not to mention repairing some extensive structural issues. It’s really no surprise the home won the competition! I absolutely adore the coastal cool vibe going on. The crisp, white walls and beachy hardwoods are the perfect backdrop to the classic sea glass blues, greens and touch of coral. I can’t even pick a favorite area! The light-filled kitchen, relaxing master suite, beachy chic living room…it’s all perfection! And as simple as it is, I’m really loving the laundry closet too. Wish I could tuck one of those away next to my bedroom!

To see just how remarkable the transformation was, check out Beth Lindsey’s blog for dramatic ‘before’ photos as well as behind-the-scenes fun too. And for lots more on the renovation, visit the HGTV website!

        Hi Dixie,

I am so glad you enjoyed the series. We ordered the chandelier from Wayfair. Unfortunately, it is no longer available you may want to try Overstock or Centuria websites.

        Warm regards,

Erin, just wanted to say….because I very, very rarely take the time to let you know how much I adore your blog….years of being a big fan, love almost everything you post, sometimes just like, but I have to say almost always love, and that is pretty crazy since you post so often. Ok, I’ll stop gushing, just know I’m out there with every post incredibly impressed with your ability to find these amazing places to share with us. The Hubs and I have decided to downsize so we bought the lot across from us that for 10 years has been vacant and plan to build. We live with a view of Puget Sound and with my pinterest pages full of your coastal colors and stunning decor designs I will be ready when the time comes. Thanks for providing such marvelous inspiration!

Love this work by Beth Lindsey….Do you happen to know the kitchen scallop backsplash source and the tall kitchen pantry paint color (darker turquoise color)
Thanks for your blog…I’ve been a reader for many years. What an inspiration you’ve given me for so many projects.
