Did you guys all see the July/August issue of House Beautiful? They dedicated it to small spaces, my favorite by far being this Providence, Massachusetts cottage designed by the brilliant Frank Roop! What was once a ramshackle fisherman’s shack teetering on a pier is now a chic hideaway with some seriously amazing water views. No doubt the sea was the starting point for these spaces, but I love how the talented designer added punches of lime green for contrast. The nautical touches throughout, like the authentic, working portholes bought from a marine supplier, are perfection too! You can read all about the coastal cottage and see more photos by James Merrell right over here! And if you loved this one, check out another one of my favorite projects by Frank Roop here!
