Like so many of us, the couple who own this delightful Louisiana farmhouse love everything Fixer Upper! When they were designing their new home, they found themselves taking a lot of cues from Chip and Joanna Gaines, including fixtures and furniture, from shiplap to subway tile. You’ll also find plenty of fun vintage finds throughout, like the antique butcher-block island, Magic Chef range, and adorable kids’ beds they painted Duck Egg Blue by Annie Sloan. And in pure Southern style, I love that they painted the porch ceiling a pretty haint blue hue (Watery by Sherwin-Williams) and the door to match! (Notice the little “hey y’all”?! So cute!) See more photos of the home by Alexandra Rowley (styled by Elizabeth Demos) and read the article all about it over at HGTV Magazine!

This home is so gorgeous! This truly does look like it was designed by Chip and Joanna Gaines. I love that they kept a blue and white theme throughout the house; it’s so elegant, clean, and southern.

I love all that you did with this home. I especially love the front porch area. Where did you find the pots for the plants on each side of the door, They are lovely and what I’m looking to add to my front porch a couple of pots like that. Any help in finding them I appreciate. Thank you!
