With summer quickly coming to an end, I can’t help but savor this beautiful Lake Michigan beach home by Chicago-based Burns + Beyerl Architects! Captured by photographer Nathan Kirkman, the amazing home boasts some jaw-dropping lake views and plenty of windows and outdoor spaces that take full advantage of them! I love how the indoor spaces flow right onto the porches and terraces, and even from the inside, the use of blues and sandy hues throughout bring the serenity of the lake view back indoors. Not only is the home absolutely gorgeous, it was also designed with practicality in mind–as any beach house should be! One of of my favorite features is the sand mudroom complete with showers and changing rooms! See more photos of this home, as well as other incredible projects by the award-winning architecture firm here!
