Kristen Panitch Interiors

November 8, 2011

When I look at these images from the portfolio of Los Angeles-based designer Kristen Panitch, I don’t see some of the cutest rooms ever, I see life. The kids rooms feel so magical, so real and happy! Even the living areas are so kid-friendly, I can just see the families enjoying every inch of these rooms. The colors, the patterns, the layers, the lighting, the fabrics, the toys and crayons…I just love all of it. And I just have to say, that has to be one of the best kitchens I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Lots more waiting for you right over here!

    Hello Erin!

I'm saving the 3rd picture. That's genius! I love the built-in bunk beds and the two desks on each side. Brilliant!

    Great post, sweetie!

    Have a great day!

So in love with all of these. I completely agree with you – they feel lived in, loved, and real. They remind me of the show Parenthood for some reason (probably because I've been watching the full series up to this point on Netflix), probably because the houses in that show are decorated beautifully, but are realistic because they never look too perfect. I need to figure out how to achieve that in my own decorating – I think a lot of it has to do with layers.

I'm off to study these photos some more!

You're right, these are gloriously ALIVE interiors. I am loving that kitchen but you know what caught my fancy most: the two Godzillas having a conversation! LOL! That is exactly how a precocious kid might style his/her Godzillas! Too adorable.

So talented, love it! Especialy that kids room, I have a definite thing about hand made/ built in bunks – maybe as i have two boys – and that room is perfection!

I am dying to know the paint color of the bedroom in the 2nd picture. Anybody know what it is or how I can find it? I have searched and can't seem to figure it out. Thanks!

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
