Cara McBroom

July 14, 2016

You can go ahead and file this under my list of favorites! The stunning WaterColor, Florida beach house was designed by Emerald Coast interior designer Cara McBroom who filled the family getaway with timeless, casual furnishings jazzed up with bright colors and contemporary art! The homeowner specifically wanted turquoise, lime green and coral–and made sure to consult her kids and grandchildren about what they wanted to make sure everyone felt at home. In addition to the fun mix of patterns and colors that pop on the neutral backdrop, I’m in love with the rustic touches throughout. The distressed floors and ceiling beams are beautiful! The plethora of pillows in every room is fabulous too…I want them all! And all the artwork! Head on over to Cara’s blog next to see more photos and to read all about the home. I was excited to learn it was featured in Cottage Style magazine too…read more about that here!

I LOVE those turquoise rush-seated chairs used at the white dining table! They are SO beautiful. Does it tell somewhere where they are from?

The rest of the house is nice, but nothing grabbed me like those chairs. Thanks for the post.

[…] Emerald Coast interior designer Cara McBroom blew me away, yet again! This fabulous coastal condo located in Seagrove, one of the oldest beach communities along 30A in Florida, is filled to the brim with all of my favorite things! I adore how the colors beautifully blend with all of the natural texture and give the home a relaxed, beachy atmosphere. The great mix and match of patterns in the fabrics and rugs only add to the casual, coastal vibe! And I’m totally in love with all of the artwork and sea-inspired accessories too. It’s hard to believe that the designer had a tight deadline here…the clients needed their home entirely furnished in just a matter of weeks! You can learn her shopping sources, great design tips, and see more pics of the home here! And if you loved this as much as I did, don’t miss this other project by Cara McBroom here! […]
