There’s so much love and life in this Manhattan Beach bungalow photographed by Victoria Pearson featured in the new Country Living. The home was designed by architect Lewin Wertheimer and brought to life by the homeowners Chip and Bethany Herwegh. (He’s a prop-maker, she’s a costume designer–how cool is that?) You might know Bethany from her delightful blog The Glamorous Housewife. She’s been a faithful reader of mine for many years, and I’m truly honored to know she frequently referred to my blog when decorating their fabulous home. The turquoise hutch may be my favorite thing here…I love the mirrored glass! The kids rooms are super fun too. I love all the thoughtful details…you know they are having a blast there! You can read more about the home (including fun behind-the-scenes tidbits) over at The Glamourous Housewife! And for sources for almost everything in her home, visit Bethany’s Pinterest page!

OMG! I am so excited to be featured on your blog. When I was decorating my house I would dream of someday being on your blog, and that day has come! I am actually more excited to be on your blog then in Country Living! LOL!
Thanks doll,

Oh, I love this beautiful cottage. thanks for sharing
I have that clear chair and love how she put it with a more traditional desk!
Can I just tell you how happy your blog makes me everyday! I seriously love it, thanks!
I die. What a home. Can't wait to visit her blog. Thank YOU {again| for sharing such eye-candy!
WOOOWWW… SO BEAUTIFUL!! I don't even know which room is my favourite!!!
Stunning home! The lighting in the 3rd image is very similar to our Tole Pendant Light! We based the design off a fab vintage piece xx
I love all the rooms very very much! great style so fresh and cozy
I really wish I hadn’t seen this as I really want one now!
Love your blog! And I am going to copy your idea of painting the back wall of the shelves a beautiful blue. In my case, there will be a collection of Staffordshore and other blue willow pieces. My question to you is…should I use glossy or matte paint?thanks!
Her house is so elegant! There are more pictures (and from different angles and with different decorations) on her blog now. I love the turquoise theme, but the yellows & other colors add a whole another "personality" to the house.
I would love to see more photos of the outside yard and how you incorporated this color.
