Nicki Pasqualone of Vitalic Photography + Giveaway Winner!

November 4, 2011

What a way to wrap up the week! This is a rare treat…one brought to us by Nicki Pasqualone – a professional photographer who holds an interior design license, whose dad (Randy Hines) is general contractor! Nicki recently finished enclosing her Florida porch into a sunroom (office, playroom, den) and I cannot get over how perfect it is (or how adorable her daughter is!) I just love how she took Urban Outfitter’s ruffle shower curtain and stretched it around a blank canvas. Brilliant! The wall color is utterly perfect here too…it was a custom match (the label says CLRNT = 384th, B=76, C = 27, D = 124, if that means anything to you guys). Love the pillows…floral one made from Kravet Jellybean from Etsy shop LilyOnBlue and the green one featuring Schumacher’s Betwixt in Water/Ivory made by LabDesigns on Etsy. The cute striped one is from TJ Maxx. (Nicki generously supplied me with a ton of sources, so if you are wondering about anything else, just ask away!)

And if you thought these images were pretty, you must take a visit to her site Vitalic Photography and her delectable blog where she and her photo partner Chrissy showcase some serious talent behind the lens. If you’re lucky enough to live in Florida (or destination wedding, hello!) I can’t think of anyone better to preserve your special memories!

Oh this is such a lovely sunroom.

Love her work desk and the huge windows that allows abundant natural light in. And of course love the wall colors… what a relaxing room.

Thanks so much for the paint formula! I wrote it down and am going to try to get it since my "turquoise" paint turned out to look more periwinkle in my room. ๐Ÿ™

    Beautiful room! So relaxing!!!

Is that ruffle trimming wrapped around a canvas? Brilliant idea. Love the shabby chicness of it.

I noticed that wall hanging immediately, loved it. Surprise that it is a shower curtain! I was going to have it knocked off by this dress maker I know.

Oooh I love this! It's so serene! The shower curtain I've pined after for quite some time looks awesome above the sofa – how clever! I'm digging the rustic elements with the clean, crisp blue and white. Beautiful!

I absolutely LOVE the ruffle wall hanging!! I hadn't thought of just slapping ruffles up on a wall, but it looks spectacular! I'll bet it makes her feel so happy every time she walks in her front room. ๐Ÿ™‚ Love it. Way to be bold.

I love this post. This might be my favorite of your posts. First as always beautiful interiors but what makes this one great for me is the personal touch-the darling shot of her little girl and the list of sources at the bottom of your post. I really appreciate when a blogger does this. It is so frustrating to see something and not know where to get it for yourself.

I think this is my first comment on your blog even though I've followed for a couple years – I love it!! I must be kindred spirits with Nicki. In my living/dining area I have the same wall color, same bamboo blinds, same computer, and same kiddie table/chairs and teapot set… it's fun to see the other pieces she chose for her space – thanks for this post!
