Stacey Haines

November 2, 2010

Remember that adorable coastal cottage from last week belonging to the talented photographer Stacey Haines? Well I’ve got more images to share from her! This story from Canadian Home & Country actually won Stacey a National Magazine Gold Award in Canada. She not only shot the story, but pitched the idea and produced the shoot. The cute cabin in Nova Scotia actually belongs to her parents and their family did the makeover together, so winning this award was super special to her! Read more about this cozy getaway here and view more amazing photography from Stacey here!

Awwww, its just so charming and cute! Personally, I'm partial to running water and flush toilets (forget the microchip — as far as I'm concerned, indoor plumbing is the greatest modern invention ever!) and I don't see either here (though I just quickly perused the article), so I doubt I could LIVE there, but it is just SO PERFECT as a studio space! Reading, writing, painting, crafting could so easily be done there. Wish I had a space like that! — Kimberly

I love, love, love this! She's so clever. And I'm totally getting inspiration from having more than one piece painted turquoise, especially in the different tints and shades!

This is an adorable sweet space. I have a tiny house that was built on wheels. It is just 8'x 24' long. It has 2 sleeping lofts, a kitchen, reading nook, bathtub and everything you need for full time living. I keep her decorated mostly in white but sometimes add pops of turquoise with a coastal them. Tiny homes and spaces are like being wrapped in a hug. Thanks for sharing. Your blog is really nice.
