Whistle While You Work

March 24, 2010

I love this kitchen. LOVE IT. Top 5 for sure. The happy space belongs to Jen Johner of the blog The Little Things. She just finished painting it and I think it looks amazing. The new color brings such life to the space! I especially love it with the island she painted, and the pops of yellow. What a cheery space! Head over to her blog for more images and info on her kitchen update, including before shots!

Edit: Jen updated her site with some FAQ about her kitchen…check it out here!

Wow it's perfect! I am so in love with that turquoise cart! I think this just shows how beautiful a normal kitchen in a normal affordable home can be. I say this because it looks like it started out like many of the kitchens in the builder-grade homes I've seen but taken to a whole other level. I may be wrong – but I think this could be easily replicated in many people's homes, and there really is nothing as cheerful as a pop of turquoise and yellow! It's gorgeous – I want it!

Agreed! Top 5 for sure. My best is the "enjoy" above the door. Will definitely visit her site, thanks for the invite.

I would love to know more about the turchoise island but the link to that blog isn't working. Thanks.

Iโ€™m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
