Thibaut

March 29, 2010

I love Thibaut…(and their website!) I was thankful when Vanessa of Decor Happy spotlighted some of their latest wallpaper collections. Here’s some of my favorite turquoise-infused images…aren’t they styled oh-so-beautifully? They really go above and beyond! Now what can I wallpaper….

All of the fabrics in the photos are Thibaut's as well. For purchase, look at their website for an interior designer or store in your area. I use their products on projects all the time!

Holy smokes! Talk about some serious turquoise eye candy! I'm still dying to wallpaper a couple walls in my house (although, I have yet to convince the hubby). I really love the wallpaper in that 2nd image. Gorgeous!

Erin, you're too clever. I keep wondering how you can keep a blog about ONE colour so interesting, and there you go again. Love. Keep it up! xLouise

I recently rented my house for a Thibaut and Schumacher photo shoot. What fun! When the collection comes out, I'll write back and tell you things like that lovely guest room was actually photographed in my living room, etc. Our house is a Greek Revival, c. 1858, with original heart pine floors, 8 fireplaces, etc., which they featured. Somehow, they got all the wallpaper off the walls without leaving a scratch – and those walls are plaster with horsehair!! They also borrowed accessories from me, including my FIL's mortar and pestle that he used in med school in the 1930s. Bill gifted me with some fabulous chinoiserie fabric and a Greek key fabric – such lovely fabric and a great experience!

The first photo – Banyan Basket – is from Thibaut's latest Texture Resource Volume 3. This is 100% Vinyl, fabric backed – so it's easy to hang – and Scrubbable! Think of all the rooms that you could use that in now!
