Jen’s Cheery Home Tour

May 10, 2010

I know you all have to remember this AMAZING top-5 kitchen. I jumped for joy when I learned that Apartment Therapy took note and decided to do a house tour of Jen Johner’s entire home!! The whole thing is just as fun and inviting as her kitchen…full of all my favorite colors and so many cute touches. If you all aren’t hooked on Jen’s blog The Little Things yet, definitely check it out! And for LOTS more images of the rest of her home, head over here!

There is so much to feast your eyes on in Jen's home, but the turquoise leather chair in the living room is to die for.

Hi Erin!! I wish I could snap my fingers and get my villa to look so cheery. I love her touches of turquoise. I think I need to add more turquoise to my villa, this is great inspiration. Will have to check her blog.

In the second to last photo, we recognize the paper puffs hanging from the ceiling. They've been featured again and again on Etsy. They look really cute and add to the whole whimsical vibe that she's got goin' on.

My favorite thing is the small bistro table and stools floating at the outside corner of the kitchen. Love how she's not afraid to cram it in there. Looks great!

I can't believe how consistent her choice of colors is throughout the whole home. This is certainly someone who knows her own style! It looks beautiful.

I love this home. The grey/taupe on the walls is so complimentary to the bursts of yellow and aqua.

What a simply gorgeous home – my sort of style exactly with the words and letters and pics on the walls! I actually use quite a few of my scrapbooking materials on my walls to make up quotes etc.

This home has such a great vibe about it….. personal, happy, cheeky, quirky, whimsical. And the pattern everywhere – love it!

And, I want some hand towels in my bathroom just like those… have been looking for patterned hand towels for a while and can't find any where I live.

Thanks for the lovely pics Erin!

    Linda. 🙂

Hmmm, just took a look around Jen's lovely blog (thanks for the link), and see she's a scrapbooker too! I wonder if all scrapbookers extend their work to their walls like Jen does (and I do). Perhaps I can now call my style of interior design 'scrapbook style!' lol!
