Richard Drummond Davis Architect

May 4, 2010

I was so excited when Chris of Richard Drummond Davis Architect out of Dallas, TX emailed me with these amazing pictures. The first two rooms belong to a teenage girl whose favorite color is turquoise. Interior designer Robyn Menter did a fantastic job! That bathroom is a total dream come true!! *sigh* The last few images are from one of Chris’s favorite projects. The owners wanted a house that looked like a postcard of a 1930’s Hollywood Spanish bungalow. I love it all (especially the turquoise island!!)

Great house from my fellow Dallasite! I'd like to see a little more turquoise in that kitchen though. I think it needs to pop that color around!

That bathroom is perfect! And it looks like there is a bit of purple trim on the exterior along with the turquoise. Wow, what a combo.

what's really nice about the ghost chair is it doesn't take away from the room at all. it sits right in front of that desk, has an awesome outline but doesn't distract the eye

Lovely! Did you know that the Bubble chair is here from Finland? Designed by Eero Aarnio in 1968.
