Lovely Laundry Room

May 3, 2010

This delightful laundry room was designed by reader and fellow blogger Diane of Passionate for White. Doing laundry would be so much less of a chore if I had a beautiful room like this. Heck I’d probably do laundry every day just so spend time in it! Diane said that the scheme was inspired by the clothespin bag her mother in-law made from a child’s dress and graciously passed on to her. You can see it hanging in the first image…isn’t it adorable?! What a treasure!

Love this laudry room…my poor laundry is in the basement and it's so dreary down there. This really inspires me to carve out a cute little space down there! Thanks for sharing! Love the pops of color! Beth

Wow, it is lovely, and so thoughtfully decorated. I would do some quite bad things if it meant I could have a laundry room like that I think! The size of the machines is fantastic, is that normal in the US or are they big I wonder. Either way, excellent!

I hear ya sister! In my next life, I'm asking for a built in ironing board, a huge counter top and a ridiculous amount of cabinets. Love the blue!

I love this laundry room! Maybe my washer wouldn't try to run away if it was in a room this pretty! Maybe it's trying to tell me something about my basement 🙂

I love this laundry room! And that clothespin bag out of the child's dress is adorable. I think I may buy a cute kid's dress and make one myself.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
