Whitewashed Tiffany Bedroom

May 11, 2010

I love the blogworld! Yesterday Maria of Dreamy Whites had a guest post by Melanie of Pretties and Posies, where she shared these beautiful images from her stunning bedroom. She said, “My bedroom is all about comfort. I chose to paint my walls a soft blue to remind me of a summer sky, a day at the lake, or as my niece once said…a white-washed Tiffany box.” The soft blue you see (and love…I know how you guys roll!) is Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue. Isn’t it perfectly dreamy with all the white?! I also love how she hung an old door above her bed. What a unique piece of art! Definitely head over to Dreamy Whites and Pretties and Posies, two beautiful blogs I know you’ll love too!

Love your blog and the inspiration! I've infused a little turquoise into my no-cost Redesigned dining room, using an antique chair dressed in turquoise fabric and contemporary art work, both by Designer Kenneth Brown.
