I'm seriously loving all the great home tours on Country Living lately! This Nantucket cottage photographed by Gridley + Graves is especially calling my name–I'm obsessed with all things Nantucket! The owners worked with architect Luke Thornewill and interior designer Janet Kielley on the two-year-long renovation of the historic cottage. (With the sea right there, who can complain?!) I love the cute kitchen...did you notice they used a piece of driftwood for the handle on the fridge? I've never ... View Post

Garrison Hullinger Interior Design
We've already seen (and unanimously loved) a kitchen designed by Garrison Hullinger, the talented interior designer out of Portland, Oregon. Here are more turquoise-infused photos that I'm drooling over from his extensive portfolio, taken by Blackstone Edge Studios. I love that Garrison prefers palettes inspired by the “amber waves of grain” landscapes of his Midwest childhood. (Yay for the Midwest!) But he definitely amps it up with fantastic color and texture too! I think my favorite room here ... View Post
Highland Homes
So you think it's safe to assume these folks love turquoise?! Pretty much every room is brimming with it!! The home was built by Highland Homes, an award-winning homebuilder in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, Texas areas. Let's just talk about that kitchen for a sec. Or a long while. Because all of that turquoise subway tile is downright fabulous! Ahh! I'm really loving all of the Thomas Paul "Aviary" fabric in the bedroom too...so fun! You can finish the tour of this ... View Post
Tiffany Eastman Interiors
Ooh la la! I can't get enough of these rooms from the portfolio of Stamford, Connecticut interior designer Tiffany Eastman! Some rooms so subtle and serene with their color, others more bold and fun, but all so chic and sophisticated! I love her choices of floor coverings and fabric in every room, but especially the kitchen/family room with "Potalla" from Alan Campbell on the windows. (I'm currently having pillows made for our deck with that design!) I only wish I had that Oly shell chandelier ... View Post
Garry Mertins
Little Rock, Arkansas designer Garry Mertins does a great job blending a mix of wood with a light, beachy color palette in this 1920's renovated home featured in At Home in Arkansas and photographed by Nancy Nolan. The pretty robin’s egg blue throughout was inspired by the family’s love of the beach, but they also wanted a mix of Old World with contemporary details. And they love wood! All the woodwork is original to the home, but freshened up with pretty paint to keep it from feeling like a ... View Post
Hillary Thomas + Jeff Lincoln
I'm sure you guys have all drooled over this Washington, D.C. town house designed by Hillary Thomas and Jeff Lincoln from the May issue of House Beautiful, but they were so "House of Turquoise", of course I have to share them here too! Where do I even begin?! How about the kitchen with the patterned tile from Ann Sacks! Those fab tiles actually influenced the palette throughout the rest of the house. And let me tell you, I cannot stop drooling over that living room! Those to-die-for turquoise ... View Post
Karen Garlanger Designs
What's better than Benjamin Moore's Wythe Blue?! A whole kitchen filled with it! Interior designer Karen Garlanger out of St. Joseph, Michigan was inspired by the cloud color in the granite when she chose one of my favorite paint colors for the custom cabinets. What a statement! You can read more about it over at Cultivate! Have you guys heard of that site?? I just learned about it yesterday and am hooked. It's entirely devoted to kitchen design, with loads of highly-pinnable photos, ideas, ... View Post
ECOterior Solutions | Crisp Architects
I feel like we don't see a lot of rustic country homes using turquoise, but interior designers Carolyn Tierney and Diane Susoev of ECOterior Solutions are showing how it's done in this Dutchess County, New York farmhouse renovated by Crisp Architects and photographed by Rob Karosis. It might not be the style I'd choose for my own home, but there is something so comforting and warm about this home that is so hard to resist! I love that cozy bedroom...how nice to have a little sitting area, ... View Post
