Hi, there! I’m Sara of Embrace My Space, and I’m thrilled to be Erin’s guest this week as she enjoys some down time with her family. House of Turquoise has always been one of my go-to spots for breezy, beautiful design inspiration. Like Erin, I’ve had an ongoing love affair with turquoise (and teal, aqua, seafoam…) for as long as I can remember. I'm honored to have the opportunity to take my fellow House of Turquoise fans on a tour of my home. I hope you enjoy all the shades of turquoise ... View Post

Guest Blogger: Gabbi of Retro Ranch Reno
Hi, everyone! I’m Gabbi, the blogger behind RRR. While my day job may consist of numbers and spreadsheets, my real passion is for all things home design, décor and renovation. I started my humble, little blog after my husband and I purchased a 1950’s fixer upper. I’m 110% sure my hubby thought I was nuts when I fell for our home. He saw a nightmare and I saw potential. Thankfully, with a bit of renovating, creative thinking, budget fixes and DIYs, I’ve created a place we are ... View Post

Turquoise Interior Design Ideas Let's be simple and get to the point? We all come to House of Turquoise because we're addicted to turquoise interiors and let's face it, no one shows them better than Erin, right? When Erin, a friend of mine for years now, asked to prepare a post for this blog, I knew I would enjoy every second of it, not only because I adore this place just as much as you do, but also because turquoise interiors are a passion of mine as well. So much so that I am always ... View Post
Cottage on the Green – Tybee Island
It was a little over a year ago that my family and I spent a week on Tybee Island (remember where we stayed...ahhh!). While we were there I had an opportunity to tour Cottage on the Green, this absolutely delightful cottage designed by Jane Coslick! I sure wish my photos did it justice, nothing really captures the joy I felt right after I stepped in the door! Something about Jane's designs instantly make me happy. They are always so fresh and bright, a charming combination of new and old (or ... View Post
Cristina Mateus
The light flowing through this beautiful home in Spain designed by Cristina Mateus of Atmósfera Reformas e Interiorismo could not be any more beautiful! I am so in love with the family room here. Those big doors that open right up into the garden, the cozy layers of texture, cheery pops of color, built-in shelves...it's all so beautiful! Love how they added the neat window in the kitchen to bring even more light in, and as a way to keep an eye on the kiddos in the other room! To finish your tour ... View Post
Chris Milligan
The pops of turquoise in this gorgeous kitchen designed by Chris Milligan of Dwellings Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas are so fresh and fun–but even without them it's quite the spectacular space! I love how the kitchen feels so clean and seamless thanks to the paneled-front appliances, and the handy cabinet designed just for the turquoise mixer! (Not sure I'd hide that beauty though!) The pretty pantry is great too. Not just functional, but beautiful as it looks like a freestanding piece of ... View Post
Digs Design Company
Once again Rhode Island interior designer Jocelyn Chiappone of Digs Design Company has blown me away! She recently completed this Newport home that is both elegant and livable, with a beautiful breezy color palette that makes me swoon! I love all the windows in the home, especially in the kitchen and family room. It all feels so bright and inviting! Love the mix and match of patterns in the family room as well, and the beautiful collection of blue and white pots. But I need to talk about the ... View Post
