Hi, there! I’m Sara of Embrace My Space, and I’m thrilled to be Erin’s guest this week as she enjoys some down time with her family. House of Turquoise has always been one of my go-to spots for breezy, beautiful design inspiration. Like Erin, I’ve had an ongoing love affair with turquoise (and teal, aqua, seafoam…) for as long as I can remember. I'm honored to have the opportunity to take my fellow House of Turquoise fans on a tour of my home. I hope you enjoy all the shades of turquoise ... View Post
Guest Blogger: Gabbi of Retro Ranch Reno
Hi, everyone! I’m Gabbi, the blogger behind RRR. While my day job may consist of numbers and spreadsheets, my real passion is for all things home design, décor and renovation. I started my humble, little blog after my husband and I purchased a 1950’s fixer upper. I’m 110% sure my hubby thought I was nuts when I fell for our home. He saw a nightmare and I saw potential. Thankfully, with a bit of renovating, creative thinking, budget fixes and DIYs, I’ve created a place we are ... View Post

Turquoise Interior Design Ideas Let's be simple and get to the point? We all come to House of Turquoise because we're addicted to turquoise interiors and let's face it, no one shows them better than Erin, right? When Erin, a friend of mine for years now, asked to prepare a post for this blog, I knew I would enjoy every second of it, not only because I adore this place just as much as you do, but also because turquoise interiors are a passion of mine as well. So much so that I am always ... View Post
Cottage on the Green – Tybee Island
It was a little over a year ago that my family and I spent a week on Tybee Island (remember where we stayed...ahhh!). While we were there I had an opportunity to tour Cottage on the Green, this absolutely delightful cottage designed by Jane Coslick! I sure wish my photos did it justice, nothing really captures the joy I felt right after I stepped in the door! Something about Jane's designs instantly make me happy. They are always so fresh and bright, a charming combination of new and old (or ... View Post
Jillian Harris
My bags are packed any time Jillian Harris might want a guest staying over! The talented Canadian designer created one heck of a cozy guest house in the backyard of her bungalow in Kelowna, B.C., captured here by photographer Janis Nicolay! The pretty blue console was the inspiration behind the fresh color palette and vintage aesthetic of the space. What we don't even see are the modern touches–tucked inside the built-in closet is a mini fridge, coffee machine and TV! Jillian definitely knows ... View Post

I always get excited when Thibaut comes out with a new collection–and for the beautiful new inspirational photos that go along with it! I can't tell you how much I'm loving Trade Routes, their newest collection of coordinating wallpaper, print and embroidered fabrics inspired by handcrafted and primitive techniques from faraway places. They are all absolutely gorgeous...and you haven't even seen all of the patterns or the other colorways! As a die-hard pink and turquoise lover, the Medallion ... View Post
