Amy Studebaker Design

July 1, 2016

I'm kicking off the holiday weekend with these fabulous spaces by Amy Studebaker Design, a St. Louis, Missouri-based interior design firm specializing in luxury living spaces. These light and breezy rooms (captured by Alise O'Brien Photography) are awash in crisp white with perfectly placed pops of color and pattern! The kids' rooms are especially fun...that striped Dash and Albert rug and the turquoise Jenny Lind bed are two of my all-time favorites! Then there's the kitchen. You guys know how ... View Post

Sunnyside Up – Cape San Blas, FL

June 30, 2016

I'm super excited to be sharing Sunnyside Up, a first tier vacation home in the beachside community of Seagrass on North Cape San Blas, Florida! The home belongs to Fran and Michael, longtime readers of my blog who actually used it (and my shopping blog!) for inspiration when decorating! Get this though...Michael is retired Army and is currently working in Iraq flying for the State Department. They have spent countless hours via Skype designing their new home constructed by Scott Carter of Beach ... View Post

Jan Jones LLC

June 29, 2016

I'm loving the fresh take on traditional style in this beautiful Dallas, Texas home designed by Jan Jones LLC; there are so many unexpected surprises in every space! I can't even being to tell you how much I'm drooling over the dining room. Those turquoise chairs are drop dead gorgeous! (And pink peonies never hurt!) The more informal dining area is all sorts of fab too....love that chandelier and the nearby colorful settee covered in Kravet's Teablossom fabric. And how perfectly serene is that ... View Post

Robb and Stucky

June 28, 2016

This incredible home on Marco Island was designed by Susan J. Bleda and Amanda Atkins of Robb & Stucky, and is actually an award-winning model home for Florida Bay Builders. Cool and classy, the home definitely takes its cues from the coastal location with its dreamy sea-inspired hues throughout! We're talking downright turquoise perfection...*sigh*! The mix of textures and patterns feels elegant yet comfortable, but what I love most (other than the colors!) is how the indoor living areas ... View Post

Design Hintz

June 27, 2016

So I was just saying on Friday how much I adore a cute mudroom, and really guys, it doesn't get much cuter than this one! Design Hintz out of Salem, Utah was behind these fun, colorful spaces. Not only are they beautiful, they're super functional too! Back to that fab mudroom/laundry room...you might not have noticed but there's hidden cat liter box storage with cabinet door cutouts for easy access! As a cat-lover, I think that's genius! Another favorite detail are the grates in the locker ... View Post

Mary Mac and Company

June 24, 2016

When an Atlanta couple decided to build their vacation home in WaterColor, Florida, they turned to interior designers Mary McWilliams and Kenson Bates of Mary Mac & Co. and architect T.S. Adams Studio to turn their dream into a reality! The breezy beach house captured by photographer Jean Allsopp is elegant yet comfortable, and filled with splashes of soft blue and sea-inspired accessories throughout! I'm not gonna lie–the mudroom might be my favorite space. (What is it about mudrooms?!) I ... View Post

Sarah Natsumi Moore

June 23, 2016

I don't always get to go the rustic route on this blog, but I sure love it when I do! This incredible Texas home was captured beautifully by Austin-based interiors and lifestyle photographer Sarah Natsumi Moore. Texture reigns supreme in the home by Hill Country Builder! The warm, cozy and rugged vibe is perfect for its setting, and I love the way they introduced turquoise into the design...a color (or stone!) never out of style in Texas! And with all the wood, brick and stone, I adore the ... View Post

Bailey McCarthy of Biscuit Home

June 22, 2016

Nothing says summer like a bunk room! Bailey McCarthy of Biscuit Home (and the blog Peppermint Bliss!) designed this fun space for Coastal Living's 2015 Cinnamon Shore Showhouse in Port Aransas, Texas. I love her take on gender neutral! She used crowd-pleasing Dolphin’s Cove by Benjamin Moore on the bunks, trim, and walls to make the small room feel larger, and her own super-cute Marfa cactus print for the bedding. And that bathroom?! The talented designer embraced the teeny tiny space and ... View Post
