Here is a sneak peak into the rest of the home with the Kitchen of the Year I posted about on Tuesday. You can see how the Atlanta-based designer Jo Rabaut carried that gorgeous blue throughout the home. I especially love the spacious laundry room...those drying racks are great. I never have enough space to dry my clothes! Kitchen of the Year
Hold onto your horses, this kitchen is a true standout! Megan of A Life's Design shared it and another winner of the 2010 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Kitchen of the Year Contest. Obviously this beauty designed by Jo Rabaut was MY personal favorite. So much space, ample storage, a dreamy color palette...the stuff dreams are made of! I never knew I needed a butler pantry (or a double trough sink)....but I'd LOVE to have this one! Head over here to read all about this serene kitchen of the ... View Post
Effervescent Bathroom
My favorite thing about this bathroom designed by Molly Frey is the Effervescent Chandelier from Anthropologie. Sadly, it's not for sale anymore, but oh how I lusted over it! So neat to see it in a real room. And what a great bathroom too. Love that tile, and how the sinks are on opposite walls. So balanced and symmetric! And the pretty doors?? How fabulous would it be to open them up while drying your hair or doing your makeup. My bathroom always gets so hot! Love turquoise? Visit my shopping ... View Post

The colors are so bright and cheery...love all the yellow, aqua and pinks! Ohdeedoh had a complete tour of the cute room belonging to little Norah. Her mom Caroline did the entire room on a budget, so head over here to read more. I own several of those colorful Pier 1 pillows...it's fun seeing them being used in a nursery setting. And how ... Vacation Recap (and even some Turquoise!)
I'm back!! What a vacation I had! I thought I'd share some pictures with you since all your advice was so helpful. We spent the first 3 days by the beach in Montauk (the very east tip of Long Island), but since we had a rental car we spent a lot of time in nearby Southhampton and East Hampton. What an absolute dream! All the houses you guys....whoa, I seriously could not handle all the coastal gems on the most gorgeous property I'd ever seen. It was insane. Way more beautiful than I imagined! ... View Post
Turquoise Mexican Kitchen
Talk about turquoise!! A stunning blend of decorative elements found in South America and Mexico were used by Jean Stoffer Design to create this vintage Mexican kitchen. The turquoise ceramic backsplash tiles are absolutely to-die-for, as is the 10-foot turquoise island. The hardware and kitchen sink too....absolutely gorgeous. Love!! Have a fun Halloween weekend everyone! :) ... View Post
