A kid-friendly dining room is a must in my book! Christi Barbour and Christi Spangle of Barbour Spangle Design out of High Point, North Carolina gave a dated dining room a major makeover to create this sophisticated, adult (and kid!) friendly environment...from wine to grape juice, it all had to work. Perched above Lake Michigan, this amazing beach home designed by Visbeen Architects out of Grand Rapids with interiors by Benchmark Wood Studio, takes complete advantage of its jaw-dropping views! From the built-in bench (and amazing view!) in the entry, to the fun game room and bar on the lower level, I just love it all! My favorite kitchens list just got a little bit longer! Interior designer Jessica Brende transformed a 1950's Malibu kitchen from a drab, linoleum-clad space into a breezy, beautiful dream kitchen! The homeowner actually grew up in this ranch-style house, but her parents sold it long ago. Eventually she was fortunate enough to buy it back, and give it a facelift. (I dream of doing that!) Sita Montgomery has one of the most welcoming, beautiful homes! We toured her previous Utah home here a couple years ago (time flies!) and it's fun to see the similarities to her new one.
