I'm so grateful to Stacy of South Shore Decorating Blog for introducing me to talented designer Judy Long of Tillman Long Interiors out of Atlanta. I'm absolutely, positively gaga over this guest house she designed, photographed by Emily Jenkins Followill! So fresh, bright, and utterly beautiful! The layout of the space (the architect was D. Stanley Dixon) is super functional with plenty of space for lucky guests to relax. I'm loving the built-ins in the living room too, with all those fabulous ... View Post
Barbour Spangle Design
A kid-friendly dining room is a must in my book! Christi Barbour and Christi Spangle of Barbour Spangle Design out of High Point, North Carolina gave a dated dining room a major makeover to create this sophisticated, adult (and kid!) friendly environment...from wine to grape juice, it all had to work. I am loving the chairs! They are actually covered in a vinyl that looks like leather, and the fab accent fabric is kept on the back–away from dirty hands! Another fun touch that I love is the ... Visbeen Architects
Perched above Lake Michigan, this amazing beach home designed by Visbeen Architects out of Grand Rapids with interiors by Benchmark Wood Studio, takes complete advantage of its jaw-dropping views! From the built-in bench (and amazing view!) in the entry, to the fun game room and bar on the lower level, I just love it all! I could get lost in the beachy color palette (hello there, turquoise home office!) and great design details in every single room. Did I mention the view?! Learn more about the ... View Post
Brende Home
My favorite kitchens list just got a little bit longer! Interior designer Jessica Brende transformed a 1950's Malibu kitchen from a drab, linoleum-clad space into a breezy, beautiful dream kitchen! The homeowner actually grew up in this ranch-style house, but her parents sold it long ago. Eventually she was fortunate enough to buy it back, and give it a facelift. (I dream of doing that!) The color scheme was inspired by the gorgeous ocean-hued backsplash from Walker Zanger, which looks amazing ... View Post
Sita Montgomery Interiors
Sita Montgomery has one of the most welcoming, beautiful homes! We toured her previous Utah home here a couple years ago (time flies!) and it's fun to see the similarities to her new one. I love how open and bright this one feels, with so much great natural light! The subtle pops of color on the neutral background and the mix and match of patterns is just so pretty too! And the kitchen is perfection...I can see why it's one of her favorite spaces! Read all about her home and see more photos by ... View Post

I cannot get enough of the layers of texture and beachy colors, not to mention great accessories everywhere. It all feels so cozy and comfy! The bedroom with the four-poster bed is is especially dreamy! And how about the laid-back guest house in the last two pics? I'd be more than happy just to live there! There's more photos by Doug Thompson to see, so finish your tour of ... View Post
Four Chairs Furniture + Hiya Papaya Photography
I always get super excited when I get to share a home tour photographed by Hiya Papaya! Interior designer Lindy Allen of Four Chairs Furniture (we love her around here!) worked with Cadence Homes to create this bright and cheerful home, which was part of this year's Utah Valley Parade of Homes. What more could I ask for...darling accessories, fun color and pattern, and gorgeous furniture–all on neutral background so the colors pop! (And makes it easy to change things up!) There's tons left to ... View Post
Sarah Gunn Style
Coral and turquoise is a match made in color heaven! I love how Toronto interior stylist Sarah Gunn paired the fun combo with a sophisticated grey in this fabulous bedroom! Tons of storage all over the place, a cute desk for homework, and a place for friends to hang out make this a perfect teen space. I'm loving the fresh mix of patterns going on and how she used paint to customize the furniture! Read all about the room and see before pics right on over here! Sources Ceiling color, back of ...
