One place I've wanted to visit forever is Key West, Florida...and it looks like now I have the perfect excuse! The Marker Resort is a brand new hotel in the heart of Key West's Old Town; in fact, it's the first new hotel on the island in over 20 years! Located waterfront with lush tropical surroundings, the hotel (captured beautifully here by Brantley Photography) has all the charm of Key West but with a clean, contemporary vibe. I love the subtle yet chic ocean-inspired decor of the guest ... View Post

Key West Kitchen
I was so excited to spot this cheery kitchen photographed by Tria Giovan on MyHomeIdeas. I'm still so obsessed with yellow and turquoise! Can you imagine how blah this room would be if the cabinets weren't painted that pretty aqua?? I love the open shelves too, what a great way to display that colorful collection of dishware. Cute cute cute!(Wall paint: Hibiscus (2027-50) by Benjamin Moore; Cabinet paint: Aquatint (6936) by Sherwin-Williams) ... View Post
Ivory Key + Tommy Bahama Home
One of my favorite things at High Point had to have been Ivory Key, the newest collection from Tommy Bahama Home that made its debut during the market. I felt very fortunate to be one of the first people to see it and be able to share it with you! Lexington Home Brands was the sponsor of my trip, so a group of us bloggers and designers had the chance to go on a private tour of their huge award-winning showroom. The building was enormous, showcasing lots of different styles of beautiful ... View Post

The light and bright newly-built home belongs to the interior designer's daughter, Mandi, who wanted a Key West style/Southern home with double stacked porches. Having grown up in New ... View Post
Guest Blogger: Liz of Pure Joy Home
Hi Everyone! I'm Liz and I write the blog, Pure Joy Home from Stamford, Connecticut and sometimes Jupiter, Florida. I'm so excited Erin asked me to fill in while she's away because I recently took a tour of an absolutely stunning coastal kitchen that is full of aqua and turquoise and it needed to be shared with all of you. In fact, while I was shooting their kitchen, Patty and I discussed how great it would be to get the post on House of Turquoise and as luck would have it, here I am :) I've ... View Post
David L. Smith Interiors
This has to be one of my favorite homes ever–love the citrus and turquoise! Located in Key West, Florida, the historic conch cottage was designed by David L. Smith, an interior designer based right on the island. First off, I adore the kitchen cabinets painted Benjamin Moore "White Rain", such a pretty color! (Love the bathroom cabinet too, painted Sherwin-Williams "Belize"!) The Phillip Jefferies grasscloth wallcovering in both bedrooms is gorgeous, as are the walls in the foyer and hallway. ... Guest Blogger: Sara of Embrace My Space
Hi, there! I’m Sara of Embrace My Space, and I’m thrilled to be Erin’s guest this week as she enjoys some down time with her family. House of Turquoise has always been one of my go-to spots for breezy, beautiful design inspiration. Like Erin, I’ve had an ongoing love affair with turquoise (and teal, aqua, seafoam…) for as long as I can remember. I'm honored to have the opportunity to take my fellow House of Turquoise fans on a tour of my home. I hope you enjoy all the shades of turquoise ... View Post
